 On December 4, the Commission, in compliance with Article 20 of Directive 2011/36 / EU, presented its second report on progress in the fight against trafficking in human beings. According to this institution, "based on a review of the measures taken since 2015, the report focuses on the major trends in trafficking in human beings and lists the priority challenges for the EU and its member states." For its realization, the Commission used the study commissioned to the University of Lancaster on data collection that is specially interesting.
